Script to Screen at Abbeygate Cinema Bury St. Edmunds

Tickets are now on sale for the Script to Screen series at the Abbeygate Cinema, Bury St. Edmunds.

‘Join BAFTA-accredited local screenwriter Freya Bennett for a fantastic season of specially-selected films, showcasing the key principles of the art of screenwriting.

 Script to Screen features a Friday evening film showing specially selected to highlight a particular aspect vital to screenwriting. There will also be the opportunity pre-film introduction and post-film Q&A with Freya, where she will go into depth on how the film illustrates a specific aspect of the craft.

She will be hosting a Screenwriting Club on the Wednesday following each Friday’s Script to Screen event.

 In these sessions, Freya will offer an in-depth two hour class where you will unpack one of the fundamentals of screenwriting. The classes will be informal and accessible, suitable for both beginner writers and those that are more experienced. Unlock your inner Scorsese and learn how the Hollywood pros put together a script.
